About Lisa Kominsky

I am the Vice President and co-founder of the Officer Michael Thomas Kominsky Sr. Scholarship Fund, created in honor of my brother-in-law, Officer Mike Kominsky, a 29-year veteran of the West Bridgewater Police Department (Badge #297, End of Watch: June 17, 2024).

Driven by a deep commitment to preserve his legacy, I transformed personal loss into purpose—building a nonprofit dedicated to supporting students pursuing careers in law enforcement and criminal justice.

 

Through scholarships, free community events, fundraising, local outreach, and town beautification of memorials, I lead the Fund with a hands-on, heartfelt approach focused on service, family, and opportunity. From awarding annual scholarships at West Bridgewater Middle-Senior High School to hosting free events like Chillin’ with Dad, my mission is to make a lasting impact in the community Mike proudly served.

 

At its core, my work ensures that Officer Kominsky’s legacy continues to inspire and support future generations.
